Import the WMF file into BricsCAD
« on: January 17, 2023, 06:41:54 AM »
Hello Everybody,
we need to import WMF files into BricsCAD via a lisp macro.

In AutoCAD we can use the WMFIN command, while in BricsCAD the same command is not available.
The IMPORT command is available in BricsCAD but it doesn't work with all WMF files but only with some
I have already reported the problem to support but we can't wait for a solution.

Question: Do you know of any executable files (.exe) for use in lisp or dos prompt that can convert a WMF file to DXF or DWG or PDF?

Thank you.

you might search for a WMF to DXF converter, there's an online one here

Online converters are no good.
Due to our workflow, we need a converter that I run for example from the dos prompt, then installed on the pc.
Since it will be used by over 50 users we are looking for something free.

Yeah, that constraint makes it tough, I guess search through the open-source community
