Shapefile Error

Just noticed this, at my command prompt, I have an error that says "Simplex.shx is a normal text font file, not a shape file."

Not sure what is causing this; anyone have an idea how to fix it? lol.

Sounds like someone referenced a Simplex.shx character in a linetype in your drawing. While the files have the same extension they are not the same and cannot be used for both purposes.
