Drawing will not print
« on: October 07, 2021, 09:28:24 AM »
Good morning all,

I'm having a problem printing this and 4 other drawings that are in paperspace. If I click on the model tab, it prints but I want to print from the 24X36 paperspace tab. Is there a setvar or something I'm missing? I am attaching a a drawing that has this problem, there are 4 others that are behaving the same way. Any guidance will be appreciated. I've tried unchecking and checking box (Plot paperspace last) to no avail. I'm using the default main printer that has no problem printing except for these drawings in paperspace.

At home without a plotter but I wasn't able to download it either.
Is it 24"×36"?
Have you tried plotting extents?
Plotting from Paper Space has been the simple way for almost 30 years now.
Are you able to plot any drawing from layouts?

Zero issues plotting the file from PS (24 X 36 tab) for me, so I think it might be something on the OP's end.

If your pc3 folder is locked down you can not create custom paper sizes. I know half my company complains about it. When you batch plot it simply does not print anything. If you use the plot command I think it tells you it can't create the pc3 file when you do it.
From the remarks of others (Some can print others not so much.) it sounds like this may be where the problem lies.
(Even with common sizes if the plotter has them turned off my people can not get to them.)

Woot Woot this is my 100th post.

Have you tried plotting to PDF?
Have you tried plot preview?
Are you seeing any errors?
Are you plotting Extents, Window or Layout?
Are you using a Plot Style?
Are you using a Page Setup?

Plotting from the 24X36 paperspace tab doesn't work isn't much to go on when many of us have been plotting almost exclusively from Paper Space for about 30 years.
