Automatically change hatch color based on conditions
« on: February 18, 2021, 04:22:40 AM »
Hi there,

Please see attached documents.

I am looking to automate a conditional color change of a hatch.

The conditions of each color are detailed within the Excel doc and are also shown in the AutoCAD file within the data-linked table.

The goal is to alter the hatch color that each field sits upon such that it represents the respective field value.

As I am LISP noob I am unsure of the best way to go about this:
Can the hatch color be set using a text color such that the conditional portion is executed in Excel?
Can field values be used as a variable?

If either of these are possible, how are they linked to the hatch?

Any time spent on this is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Greg
