sln8458:
I have been working on a project for some time now, a 3D piping library.
.

With help from swamp members I have now have the Concentric & Eccentric reducers working.
However unlike all of the other fittings, these are created via lisp on the fly, like the pipe work, not inserted blocks.

Your thoughts please:
1/ Should I leave the individual 3D Solid as just that, 3D solids.
OR
2/ Create a block in the active model/drawing with a relevant block name.

I'm tempted by option 2, (more learning for me required :) ) as this would enable a list of all blocks in the model being produced.

Bryco:
I always like blocks, however if you flatshot our drawings, sometimes the 3d does fine whereas the 3d blocks dont show all.

No help to offer, just chiming in to say I'm very impressed!

Since you're using IntelliCAD I'm curious which LISP Editor are you using? And are you able to leverage the VL- VLA- VLAX functions?
