Sources For Civil 3D
« on: June 18, 2005, 07:16:48 PM »
HERE  is the first template in the Civil 3D repository.  For now It is residing in the civil3d directory in my Lilly Pad folder.  I think it will have to move if anyone is able to make submissions.  Am I right Mark?
This template is being offered free from an Australian reseller and is in metric units.  There is also one special font specified that was not included.

Not exactly. What we might do for now is create a new directory in the lilly pond to house them, if it becomes more popular we could create c3d.theswamp.org and have a whole sub-domain dedicated for C3D.

You can put them in /lilly_pond/mstg007/ for now.

Please understand, as with everything in Civil 3D, it is not that simple.  If you proceed as you suggest you would find that while the overall drawing units were in feet, each and every label would still be in metric units.  I will make a new post explaining how best to proceed when starting to establish a good working template.
