Plot set up not displaying at 0,0 in paper Space?
« on: July 30, 2019, 05:46:58 PM »
Using BricsCAD 18 & DWG file from someone else. Think it was generated from Rivet. But my issue/complaint is that when I import my page setups & change to my Arch D, the layout does not appear at 0,0 in paper space.Perhaps I missed a setting when I created the plot style, I have no clue.See attached picture. On the left is my layout at -245'-6 27/32", -19'-6", 0"while the view ports created by the previous user is near 0,0,0 as expected
Question is why my page setup is in the wrong place & how to correct it?
Thanks in advance.

I would say that it has to do with the plot area being EXTENTS. If there is an entity over there, then the origin of the extents area is the lower left. You're going to get a 24x36 area starting at that location. Change it to Layout or possibly window and select an area to plot.

I know with ACAD that happens sometimes and if an entity isn't off to side like 57gmc mentioned then I have change it layout then do a preview and then change back to extents and after closing page setup it lines back up.

Thanks for the input.I did Zoom E and no entities out there in MS or PS.
But the Page setup change to layout & back to extents did reset to the proper location. thanks for that tip.
