Why AutoCAD quit providing help for these functions I'll never understand.
Autodesk has stopped providing help for LISP in Civil 3D / MAP because :-
(a) LISP is outdated for them and no further developmental work is going on in LISP. Similar is case of VBA.
(b) Autodesk wants to focus on dotNET (.NET) programming because it is the most common platform nowdays. Although I don't think this is a wise idea because the number of developers on LISP must be 1000 times the number of developers on dotNET for CAD Products.
(c) LISP has many limitations such as limited graphics, no multi-tasking, limited capability to interact with external software etc.
