What area are you looking for? Maybe I can pull something out of QGIS for you.

Thanks Ron. I'm looking for new imagery for our area. We use for public works projects. We have access to high quality aerials but it's usually a year old by the time we get to use it. These services offer access to up-to-date aerials in both ortho and oblique. One company i spoke with said they fly this area 3 times a year. That's hard hell to beat. I still haven't got any quotes though. LOL

I hear ya. Most of the time for us Google's images are current enough depending on the area. I would like to know of a service like this that is affordable too.

We've been using www.nearmap.com for about a year now. They charge by the bandwidth used, which means you pay for looking at images along with actually downloading the images. We learned that the hard way, but it's still pretty reasonable (I don't know the exact cost, but it's less than $0.83 per meg). You get a world file with the image so you can georeference it.

Yup, we use local GIS information. But we do use Nearmap a lot. but its not of the whole nation.
