Does anyone know of a way to generate 2D regions or hatches from a 3D solid?
I understand you can explode a 3D solid to get regions/surfaces, but they are still in 3D space and not projected to the viewing plane.
I am looking for something that is similar to a flatshot. Instead of generating lines/curves and omitting/keeping hidden objects, it would instead generate projected regions or hatches.
I would not need it to maintain face color/layer. I have attached a picture to help explain for clarity.
