What does Brics use for licensing now - FlexLM?

As long as they keep Erik and his overall philosophies in place, having more access to funding could only be a good thing for Bricscad you would think.

The other thing this provides is more street cred and exposure for Bricscad, the wheels are turning slowly with quite a lot of big developers moving house with their verticals, this may make some of others transition a bit quicker. The winners here are the users with a more realistic price point and licensing system :)

Michael,
I respect your insight and the mileage you've travelled but I would be estatic if your prophesy based on experiences is not fulfilled.

I would be estatic

Positively or negatively? :P

Anyway, I don’t believe I’ve ever wanted to be so wrong.

Cheers.

If it helps, I've seen precedent for other products improving once under the Hexagon/Intergraph umbrella.

Interesting point - Leica is also a Hexagon brand.  So there could be some "cloudiness" in BricsCAD's future.

Perhaps I should have just said "I hope not" :)
