AU 2018
« on: August 23, 2018, 05:03:48 PM »
What are the general thoughts on attending AU? Worth it? I'm in the civil engineering field, use Civil 3d 2019. I went many years ago, maybe 8-10 years now, wow. Not sure what it would take to convince the powers-at-be to foot the bill, the price not-surprisingly is a lot higher than those years back.

Well, if you do go, you would be able to meet me and see the Sincpac for Civil 3D in action. I will have a booth in the Exhibit Hall, look for Quux Software. There do seem to be fewer C3D related classes this year, however. One thing to keep in mind, if you have any specific things you'd like to bring up with the C3D development team, many of them typically attend AU and are actually good to talk with.

I just got approved to go this year. I went two years ago. Jeff I might be stopping by again to chat alittle. Does the Civil Development Team still meet Monday morning, the day before AU starts?

Not sure if there will be any 'official' meetings this year. I believe they will still be doing a preview of what's coming in the next 18 months, typically held Tuesday evening.
