Wow, I can't imagine having to change that for all of the different companies that we work with. I am very glad that management supports me in having our CAD standards that very rarely get changed by client standards. I mean we work with over a hundred different clients, can you imagine if each one had their own standards we had to adhere to? Yikes!

We don't have quite as many clients, but some of the client requirements are... interesting.  We have a few with settings like that, but the standards system handles it.  In some cases we can't meet all of their requirements but most are understanding.
If you are going to fly by the seat of your pants, expect friction burns.
