To Any Visual Studio 2015 Revit Architecture Experts;
I cannot find the Revit2012Architecture.dll File any where on my computer. I need to reference the revit.dll in a visual studio program.  The SDK is installed along with the Revit Architecture 2011 program.  I can run and edit macros from within revit.  I want to start writing some c# from the Visual Studio 2015 to customize Revit. All of the samples require I use this as a resource. Has the Revit.dll file been renamed?.. am I missing an installation option? any help is appreciated...

I'm not sure about 2012 but since 2016 all the DLLs are in the "Program Files/Autodesk/Revit 201?" folder and subfolders for what ever version your running.

What about installing an add in? I cannot get my add-in-tab to Appear any suggestions?

Are you adding a new tab through an External Application?

I just want to get the an add in tab to appear by installing a quick add-in the add-in I chose was the sweets applicaton I thought once this was done the  add in tab would appear. it doesn't.
