OVERKILL removes duplicate or overlapping lines, arcs, and polylines. Also, combines partially overlapping or contiguous ones.

It doesn't remove duplicate blocks or text.

With a little effort I'm sure you can find lisp routines that will 1) remove duplicate blocks and 2) remove duplicate text entities.  I doubt you'll find one that does both.

Ex. - NODUPTEXT.lsp by Jiro Ramji

The blocks are different names, overkill will only delete the underlying block if it is the same name.

Is there another type of "overkill" commands out there?

Just a question, but does overkill work really on entities that are on top of eachother with the same layer name only? I think I tried once to do it with multiple layers and it would not work.
