« on: October 24, 2017, 11:20:28 PM »
vla-put-CanonicalMediaName then vla-GetPaperSize,I could get one papersize within 3 second。But get all the papersizes will take almost more than 1 minute。
PS. the ploter is network printer

Check the driver for the plotter. There might be a newer or better version you can use. We have a similar scenario with the driver that Windows finds for our KIP is ungodly slow but the driver from KIP runs as it should.

Printers support way more paper sizes than are actually used (not to mention, actually loaded in the physical device), and the names don't change.  Find the ones you use (most likely, just 11x17 and letter) and hard code the canonical names.
If you are going to fly by the seat of your pants, expect friction burns.

try {GreatPower;}
   catch (notResponsible)
      {NextTime(PlanAhead);}
   finally
      {MasterBasics;}
