Structural Add on for BricsCAD
« on: October 15, 2017, 05:00:36 PM »
Is anyone using Mech-Q?
I am looking at it for structural detailing.

Thanks Al
Best price I could find is $1800 for StrucPlus

Mech-Q add on is $700 for Piping, Ducts and Structural.
Structural alone is $400
Odd that you can also but AViCAD for $650 & it come with full Mech-Q and AViCAD includes Architectural software
3 programming languages supported by AViCAD Professional: LISP and SDS (C++ ADS compatible) VBA and COM automation

Might be worth running AViCAD as it claims to have 95% of AutoCAD features. BUt I might have to keep BricsCAD for all the LISP routines.
Not sure how much LISP it supports.

I'm just weighing my options at this time.
