Has there been any improvement or a new process for importing a live link Excel Spreadsheet?
I have only done it once before in Revit 2012 by using AutoCAD as an intermediary

BIM one give away a nice XLSX import/export tool that works pretty well

it locks the cells of the type parameters so you don't try to change something you aren't supposed to
