Inserting a DWG from a web page into current DWG
« on: September 14, 2016, 03:23:39 PM »
Drawing a blank... Was there a simple HTML or something that could insert a targeted dwg into the current dwg session?

Messing around with putting some details in a web page. Then have the users access the web page to insert details into their current autocad session.

Thanks for any ideas!

I would suggest downloading the drawing file and then inserting the local file (using any standard method [-INSERT/vla-insertblock/entmake])

See the following for various methods on downloading files:

Thanks Lee for the direction. I will look into it tonight... The files would be accessed on in a LAN Domain network... Thanks Again.
