No beta testers are going to be able to comment on anything specific, as it would violate NDA.

That said, as a beta tester myself -

All I will say is that there was enough broken in 2016 that I still haven't deployed it to my users, and only recently bothered to install it for myself (+/- Thanksgiving 2015? Some time after SP2), to see if the more critical items had yet been fixed.

That is why I only attempted to use XREFOVERRIDE last week for the first time. Haha

It's funny... but it's really not... but it is though.

Did you find a solution for this.

A user here is having the same problem. It does not do this on my system(I think it use to) but does on another users computer.

Yes, the solution (for me) - was to not use an incomplete feature that Autodesk still has not fixed.

I got it fixed.
Had to start Autodesk desktop App and a hotfix showed up that fixed it.

Do you know which hotfix, is particular?
We are running C3D 2017 with all known updates, and it still occurs.

Of course it's not unheard of for a fix in one version to not make it into a future version.

however IF anyone here was on that beta testing team, I will wait for their comments before drawing any conclusions about testing and or performance metrics, and their efforts
to test this feature/function

People in the beta teams are forbidden from discussing happenings inside the beta team.

It's like FIGHT CLUB. Yeah, I'm serious.

Here is why. For example, say "Joe Smith, beta tester" did discover this bug and he reported it. Then the vendor decided, for whatever reason, to not fix it. The vendor would not want "Joe Smith" to tell everyone that he did report this bug, but the vendor chose to not fix it.  That would look bad.

I believe this one

Also if your using an wipeout in a xref with XREFOVERRIDE = 1 then you have to put on a layer with color 255,255,255 to make it print correctly.

Yeah,  like we don't report problems all the time, that do OT get fixed....even AFTER the beta testing has ended.

I know of several items unfixed for....I dunno like 10 years.

No problems with wipeouts, it seems to be only Civil 3D labels with masking.

Wipeouts is an issue in 2016. Guess they fixed it and forgot about labels. :(
