I still think it's a simple matter of view discipline.

I don't see that as an option. Maybe you misunderstand. Everything shows when inserted into a model. It's the floor plan view within the family that doesn't show anything above 4.5'.

Properties box of view within family:

also, is the View Range for that view correct?

There is no view range!

Why don't you open up a mechanical equipment family before you post suggestions?

The view range is not for the family...it's for the view(s)

Please stop, reread, and test. The problem exists in the family. You are only making yourself look foolish.

Then go change the Family's view range properties.

You really need to stop for your own sake. There is not a view range in the family views.

I dunno; it appears you are describing something similar to this issue:

Okay, it seems as if you finally got lucky with reply #19 and I misspoke because I did not see your image.

Edit: Corrected post number.

`in the family'?! ...Ah! I missed that part. Sorry. Glad you guys got it figured out though--even with my wild goose chase comments-.

Don't put words into my mouth. You caused more aggravation with your stabs in the dark than relief of finding a solution. I gave you credit as due and you may see me as a leech, but do not quote me with stuff I didn't say.

I too, find him increasingly funny.

I'd much rather you didn't even respond in any fashion to my questions. I don't want your kind of help.
