Topic: REMOVE aecc_TIN_SURFACE from AutoCAD DWG.

Hi gang,

I'm using AutoCAD 2014

I have received drawings with an aecc_TIN_SURFACE object. (From civil3D I assume)

I can't get rid of it.

AECTOACAD does not do the trick. (nor of course does trying to delete, explode, burst it, etc.)

The best I can do is use QSELECT to select it and move it to a frozen layer so we can't see it (PROXYSHOW has no effect).

Any help is appreciated.

PROXYSHOW = 0 works for me .. but I'm in vanilla cad.

Odd.  PROXYSHOW is set to 0 and it still shows up.

Looks like it's missing an XML file in Civil 3D maybe someone else can chime in sorry.

Thanks!!! I'll try that now.

I did find that saving the file as a 2013 DXF and then reopening resolved the issue as well.

I working LISP will be much easier though...

The surface was 'locked' in Civil3d, this is often done to prevent it from accidentally being edited. Unlocking it allowed it to be erased.
