Xref Project - plotting
« on: November 18, 2015, 07:44:09 AM »
Hi all,

I'm trouble to plotting a xref drawing.
I can't see some object in the plot preview. There isn't anything wrong with a layer state and the main project, aparently.

Anybody Could help me out, please?

If you want something more than a guess, post the file.

My first guess is layers set to no-plot.

Rob,

I understand is difficult to help me without a file.

It complicated to post the file.
Because I have to post 2 file and my main project is more than 5Mb.

there isn't anything wrong the layer states and the plot style table.
Actually I see all object in the paper space, it perfect!
But when I plot is missing some objects.

You can use drop box to share the files.

I'm still leaning towards my first guess.

Is it missing "some" objects or the entire xref? My guess would be some layers are set to no-plot

Make sure "Display plot styles" is checked then look for missing objects.

I think so too,
But I opened my main project and plotting. Everything is fine!

You actually described the problem quite well. The pictures do not give us any pertinent information as to what is causing the issue.

If those are civil3d contours you better check the style.

The contours is a civil objects. But the others are polylines.

two things...

one are there any 'unreconciled layers' ??  If yes fix them

try using another pen table...

Do the items that do not plot show up in the file before plotting?

Is plot paperspace last checked?

If you plot from Model Space do they plot?

Be your Best

Hi mjfarrel,

There aren't unreconciled layers.

I've change the pen table

The item that don't plot isn't show up.

Yes, paperspace last check

I'm trying to plot from model space and is the same layout space.
