(Raster Design) Exporting section of image
« on: November 13, 2015, 09:41:38 AM »
I am trying to clip a section out of a large .ecw file using Raster. The .ecw file is 25GB in size. I have no problem loading the file. So far everything i have tried ends in a none responding ACAD. acad.exe memory usage exceeds 3GB before i force it to close.

Any ideas how to do this?

Thanks!

I managed to get a .tiff file created using the region method. Not the best quality image i've ever seen but .....

If you have Snagit, you can print to an image format.

But, neither snagit nor the Windows clipping tool will result in a georeferenced image.

you need the Lizard Tech Geoviewer....it can export to a usable georeferenced view of the image

try here:

load image zoom to area

Tools>>>Export View
