Chain Command - SiteOps and Microstation
« on: October 02, 2015, 07:18:25 AM »
I was in training for SiteOps this past week and saw this command "Chain". Personally I think it is a pretty awesome idea. To my knowledge; (which isn't much), I did not think AutoCAD had this type of function built in.

Now, the SiteOps version is slightly better (I think) than the one I saw in Microstation.

The way it was explained to me is that the command will take a mouse and follow it with a new polyline. So you can use it to create areas or just long connected polylines.

Just wanted to share; hopefully I am explaining this right; if not please correct me.

Thanks!

SKETCH command.  It's been part of AutoCAD since the mid-Eighties.
