Reset a Viewport?
« on: July 22, 2015, 09:31:40 AM »
What is the quickest way to reset a viewport? Right now I am unlocking the viewport, setting it to a different scale, then setting it back to the original scale finally locking the viewport. The way we are setup it seems that if you go to one of the base files and change the annotation scale of text or something, save it, then reload it back into the sheet file it does not take it immediately on some; (others its file). So I have to do the above process to get it to show correctly.

sometimes even UCSFOLLOW settings can play around with you...

also the toggle  show hide/ all anno scales can get things right

I try to do a REA all the time. I have messed around with the canno options. again sometimes it works other times it does not. The above is the only sure way that can fix the problem.

I wonder

IF

you unlock the viewport BEFORE you reload that altered XREF or Data shortcut

does the symptom remain?

I did what you mentioned above and I get the same results. I did audit all files as well, with no errors. weird.
