(C3D 2015) Match line station not visible in viewport
« on: July 10, 2015, 11:05:23 AM »
I finally got around to using view frames and creating sheets in C3D but my match line stations are not visible when i go to my sheets. I can see them in model space just not in the viewport on the layout. I check all the obvious things.

What i did;
create view frames along my alignment (17)
created sheets (separate dwgs) using a page setup in a template.

Sounds like an annotation scale issue.

Not annotation scale.

If I slide the viewport over i can see the right matchline station. *shrug*

let me be more specific...Match Line Label Style

place them to the 'inside' of the sheet than they will be visible, or you may need to change (recalculate) the size of your plan view window(s)

Thanks but I still don't see why they are not displaying. I see nothing about 'inside' in the style either.

In Temp-MACDILL.dwg, select a Matchline, and modify the Left and Right Label Styles.

Specifically, Create/Edit, Layout tab - change both Label Styles to be set Top Center, with a Y Offset of -0.05.  :-)

Happy to help, Mark :-)

Given the behavior of the labels, I'd speculate that the use of Left and Right, is describing which side of the 'sheet' it appears on, and not what side of the matchline it resides. *shrugs*

I typically 'flop' them and use left on the right side and right on the left side.
