AutoCAD 2015 install
« on: May 18, 2015, 07:28:48 AM »
Hi,

I have 135 workstation in an engineering office.  All of them require an install of AutoCAD 2015.  I have a company based deployment of the install created.  All of the PC are connected to the network.  what is the quickest, least troublesome way of installing AutoCAD on these PC's?  Is there and Autodesk application (or other) that would manage those installs?

Regards

Assuming you're on a domain, all you should need to do is add a link to your deployment shortcut in your login script. Read the text files located in the subfolder "SMS_SCCM scripts" .. there are some examples for installing different components.
Example:
Quote
<YourPath>\Img\Setup.exe /W /q /I Img\AutoCAD_2016.ini /language en-us

Windows 11 x64 - AutoCAD /C3D 2023

Custom Build PC

and or send them a link to the deployment; if you set it up to install in 'silent' mode
they could just click a link in an email
