Trying to create a surface from an exploded tin
« on: April 06, 2015, 04:16:28 PM »
Hello there,

So I just inherited a job...

For what ever reason, the survey surface isn't the full surface.  I imported the .xml and it is a cropped surface.  However I have a drawing with points.  I have another drawing with the lines from a tin and polylines that represent contours from a tin, but they are just that.  I tried making the surface out of the point file, but I don't have the break lines and they did a lot of post editing for the curves and gutter lines.  So I tried to make a surface out of the lines from the tin (which it does have elevations attached).  So I created a new surface, in prospector when to definition and selected from autocad objects.  It says it has information min and max and number of triangles but I can't get it to display a surface.

Did I miss a step?

Suggestions?

Help is appreciated...

what style did you apply?

you could try adding ALL the data you have...Points, Contours and the Triangles....or post your data back here and I'll process it for you...
Be your Best
