Visibility States
« on: February 20, 2015, 05:00:33 PM »
Hello, I have attached a block file that I am working on. I have all the visibilities working as desired minus the block attribute. How can I make this visible for all states? Currently, I right click > object visibility > Visible in all states.

I close block editor, and run ATTSYNC on block. Nothing appears.

Can anyone please help?

Works fine here, did you try deleting and re-inserting the block?

I did. Something simple I overlooked. Here's a question I now have.

How is it possible to allow the user to insert a block size when inserting, and then have the tree symbol scale, but not the attribute text?
For example:
User specifies a 20' tree canopy. How to to scale symbols to 20 ft. but keep text at same size?

Thanks,

select only the tree linework and add a scale parameter to your dynamic block

To keep it attributey, you should be able to remove the grip but keep it in the property window and set it to incremental sizing.

I'm realizing there is more to it than a simple scale. Is there a way to keep the text aligned with the block which needs to scale from the centerpoint of the symbol?
select only the tree linework and add a scale parameter to your dynamic block
