xref file
« on: February 13, 2015, 07:05:28 AM »
Hi guys,

I've renamed the folder of my files:
(\\BRSPHBT01\Dados\PRE-HABITARTE\AUTOCAD) to
 (\\BRSPHBT01\Dados\DEAP\AUTOCAD)

And I lost the main project reference. There is a way to update the new path?
Just change PRE-HABITARTE to DEAP.

Regards

Mark

You can re-path it manually at Saved Path or...

They hid the button to browse to the new location behind these three little dots:

A) don't include the XREFS <they will cry>

B) wblock to a new file ONLY the information you want to include....and XREF or insert that as block

C) PLEASE do not BIND or EXPLODE your XREFS  did I say please?

Hi,
I didn't do anything yet.

I wanna send a file without any reference. Because I don't wanna send the main project.

You could bind your XREFs and explode so that can delete the stuff you don't want, but you need to consider what the recipient is going to do with the file.

Just detach the XREF and "Save As".

Reference Manager for mass updating of XREF paths.
If you are going to fly by the seat of your pants, expect friction burns.

try {GreatPower;}
   catch (notResponsible)
      {NextTime(PlanAhead);}
   finally
      {MasterBasics;}
