AutoCAD for the blind?

...Well the color blind that is... :-P

I've got a couple color blind drafters who are having trouble with the highlight colors in AutoCAD 2015. They're confused when their selection set looks funny. Somethings which were quite visible become very hard to see.

We've diddled all our std colors to avoid ones hard to see, (hard to distinguish one from another that is)  but the highlight function isn't so cooperative.

Is there a way to tweak what happens when the object of a given color highlights?

That's what I thought, but what controls the highlight colors?

Color blinds should look at the variables PRESELECTIONEFFECT an SELECTIONEFFECT to replace glowing line highlighting for the old dashed lines. Turning off the hardware acceleration can also help.

Thank you Crank. It's taken me a while to get back to this issue. I'll give it a go.
