One day soon I'm going to seal this code and make it 3D (unit blocks of solids 1" thk.  inserted with a "Z" or "X" scale for length).

Sure, I've been busy learning Chief Architect , but still want to pursue the LISP.
I think I have the steel shapes listed in the routine working.
The aluminum shapes should be added too.

Here's another shot at sending the Aluminum Association shapes file.  I'll try the zipped one first.  Let me know.

I've stayed employed, but the big place became embroiled in rabid in-fighting among the teams of the different acquisitions.  I got tired of the whining and b1tching after a few months, disbanded my team and walked away.   Found a small company that needed help, went back on my tools, I am a designer again and loving every minute, I don't supervise, I don't manage, I don't schedule, I don't even check, I just sit in my corner cube and build refineries.

Mine is database driven... I can't share it in it's current state.
I have plans to re-write parts of the Application and release it into the wild. I don't have a timeframe at the moment.
The App draws elevations, plans and sections in 2D ... and adds xdata to assist in data extraction.

Provide the option to exaggerate the thickness on the flange or web. This will draw the lines further apart and stop bleeding when printing, thus retain visual 'representational' integrity.
... sort of like we did 25 or 30 years ago on the board. ( when we didn't have an accurate 'distance' command )

One problem I don't know how to fix is making the insertion point the "top of steel"...the middle of the top flange. Is it possible to change the insert point once it has already been defined?
