Hello,

Does anyone know if there is a way I can have a block or text field update additional fields within itself based on the users inputted value?

That's confusing, here....

Text reads like this:

FF=363.00
GAR=361.00
BF=353.17

If I change one of the values, lets say the garage floor elevation, I want the First Floor(GAR +2') to update and the Basement Floor(GAR -7.83') to update.

Has anyone seen anything like this used before?  I've tried researching "fields" but did not find what I was looking for.

Thanks!

Yes it can be done with field(s)

First  Mtext for FF=, then another piece of text for first value (assuming you are entering manually)
Then mtext for GAR= then a field - first use object, select the second text string from above, and CONTENTS
from bottom of filed dialogue copy the field expression-then change field type to formula
paste in the value you just copied- do the math operation....repeat for next value
Be your Best
