Will AutoCAD create a flat pattern from a bent part for you? If so, how?  :?

Okay, I opened in Inventor and created a flat pattern there. Now I need to get that flat pattern into AutoCAD. I can dimension and draw it but I would like to just open or import it. If anyone knows how to do this it would be much appreciated!

(Inventor provides a good educated guess when it creates flat patterns as opposed to my guessing at them.)

Of course it can! You just don't get the flat pattern.  :| My co-worker unfolded the part and exported and that worked. I also found that you can export the flat pattern sketch to .dxf

Unfortunately, I don't speak that language  :-(. Also, I think that is in 2015? I don't have 2015. I typed the command in the command line and AutoCAD didn't recognize it.
