Topic: Content Browser, missing tools

good day all.

I create a tool and add it to my tool palette then drag and drop it to my content browser, then update my tool palette to load this new tool.  all works well until I close the content browser..  When I reopen the content browser the new tool is gone, I have battled this off and on but most of the time if I add it back the second time it sticks, today it is not sticking and for the life of me, it drive me crazy.

any ideas?

after you make changes to your environment
try to save your workspace. you might have to do a uninstall reinstall.
It will really save you pain.
my guess is that you decided to migrate setting from a earlier release.
