2005 LT Pastclip change..
« on: April 07, 2005, 04:03:07 PM »
In LT98, if I copyclip then pasteclip a 'relay' for example, the pasted 'relay' is now ONE entity. If I wanted to edit it in any way, I would have to 'explode' it.

In 2005 LT, when you 'pasteclip' it automatically 'explodes' it for you. There are times when I don't want this to happen. So, what can I do to make an item ONE entity.

Hopefully, this is a simple one.

Use the _copybase command rather than copyclip. You can highlight your objects, right click, copy with base point. That should do it.  *edit* I Read your post more thoroughly   ...to make the entities a block use _pasteblock after a copyclip.....for the entites to be separate use _pasteclip
