Unresolved Xref - Machine Specific
« on: February 27, 2014, 10:28:16 AM »
I have a user who cannot open a particular file and have its xrefs all load. One shows up as unresolved.
On all other PC's, the file displays correctly.
It shows the correct path in the XREF dialog box. It will not reload.
If he detaches on the PC in question and attempts to reattach the file, it ends up unresolved as well.
This is in Civil 3D 2013.

It sounds like his network pathing is messed up.

I meant mapping, not pathing. Some devices will hijack a drive letter when connected.

Using PROJECTNAME and project paths perhaps?
If you are going to fly by the seat of your pants, expect friction burns.

try {GreatPower;}
   catch (notResponsible)
      {NextTime(PlanAhead);}
   finally
      {MasterBasics;}
