Browse Button Not Working
« on: November 07, 2013, 01:44:15 PM »
Weird problem today. My co-worker's [browse] button from the insert dialogue menu is not working.

CMDDIA = 1
FILEDIA = 1

What happened?

You mean after running the "insert" command, the initial dialog shows up but clicking the browse button does nothing?

What version of AutoCAD are you using?

After you press "Browse" (and nothing happens), can you click the Cancel button in the Insert dialog --or-- do you have to press ESC first??

Seems like a dual monitor issue.

Yeah seems like a dual monitor issue. but he is not running dual monitors. To clarify. The insert dialogue box shows up. But when I click on browse, nothing happens. I have to hit Esc first in order to hit cancel. I tried changing resolutions. Could it be that the dialogue box is moved so far out that I cannot see it?

Possibly. Have you tried the Alt, spacebar, M, arrow solution?
I would also try "restore down" on the AutoCAD window to ensure its not showing up behind the AutoCAD window.

I fixed. use the [Windows] Button + [Left or Right] to reposition the window.
