Image limited or clipping? (3d during orbit)
« on: May 28, 2013, 01:12:29 PM »
I am not sure if I am allowed to share the DWG file outside of the company, so I will do my best to describe what is going on.

I have a 3D DWG that is comprised of XREFs (which are also 3D DWG). All looks well until until I try to do an isometric view. That's when I seem to get some sort of clipped view of the XREFs. When I go back to the original view where you can see the full elevation and free orbit, as the model is rotated, it will gradually disappear from view until you reverse the rotation.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Edit: Oops. Should have been in The Third Dimension  :embarrassed:. Mod, please move. Thanks!

Sounds like front and/or back clipping is turned on.  Try DVIEW command -> Clip -> Off.
If you are going to fly by the seat of your pants, expect friction burns.

try {GreatPower;}
   catch (notResponsible)
      {NextTime(PlanAhead);}
   finally
      {MasterBasics;}
