.bundle Thrift Shop
« on: February 25, 2013, 02:33:15 PM »
I've just started getting into the new(-ish) Autoloader system for 2012+ versions, in advance of our upgrade to 2014 later this year... While 'practicing' how to configure PackageContents.xml, I thought it would serve as dual purpose to setup some of these .bundle packages for apps I use daily in 2011, that are also compatible with 2012, 2013, etc..

I did not develop these particular plug-ins, but they are all freely available, and I made sure to include a shortcut to each of the source website where I found them... I just haven't found them available in .bundle format, and thought this thread might serve as a place for us to share our work, or as I am doing here, tools that are freely available and just not setup for the Autoloader system yet.

Autodesk DWG ArxDBG.bundle

I could not find this in .bundle format, so I assembled the package IAW this blog post.

2016-01-04 - Revised the app to support up to 2016 version, thanks to Owen's work here.

Autodesk DWG MgdDBG.bundle

Given that ArxDbg was not available, I initially created this .bundle myself also, until I stumbled upon the published .bundle in this blog post, who's source is now being used.

2016-01-04 - Revised the app to support up to 2016 version, thanks to Gile's work here.

BizIcom-iDwgTab.bundle - Removed until written authorization to share is obtained

I created the .bundle from the plug-in I've been using since reading this post.

Based on this thread, I've revised the PackageContents.xml files for the Autodesk DWG ArxDBG.bundle, and BizIcom-iDwgTab.bundle attached at the bottom of this post.

Here's another one (also freeware) that I know many of you use:

CAE-Link-DwgManager.bundle - Removed until written authorization to share is obtained

Here's another one (also freeware) that I know many of you use... This one stems from a user that couldn't install/extract DOSLib from Autodesk Discussion Group here, so I've prepared this in an effort of helping them gain access to a great set of tools:

McNeel DOSLib.bundle
http://www.en.na.mcneel.com/doslib.htm

[Edit] - 2014-04-30, Dale provided written authorization to publish the attached Autoloader .bundle

BIG THANKS!!

For years I've used my own ArxDbg type utility based upon tlbinf32.dll, but I have yet to get it to run properly under Windows 7+. As you know, being able to sleuth the AutoCAD DB in real time is vital in order to pen many solutions. ArDbgSnooping allows me to once again gleen what I need to be productive -- so a big thank you!!

You're welcome; that is kind of you to say, MP.

Least I could say sir -- started a new job a month ago -- have a ton to do (and I am grateful for all of it, it's good work) -- all of it under windows 7 -- much of it dependent on my ability to sleuth data structures / entity relationships et al -- so I'm in collective debt to all those that have a hand in bringing the ArxDbg utility to folks like me. THANKS!!

Again, I'm always happy to help.  :kewl:

I see the benefit of many like utilities, and am actually surprised that they are not being made available via Exchange Apps frankly. Another example is Snoop C3D (see my comments at bottom), which Augusto was kind enough to oblige (even though I already made my own Autoloader .bundle for same). *shrug*

This *bump* reminds me of other .bundles I should be adding here too, like DGN Purge (which again, should be made available via App store!).

Cheers

Revit spelunkers are probably aware by now that Revit Lookup (RvtMgdDbg) is now on GitHub as Jeremy recently posted here:

Update:

Dale from McNeel (DOSLib) provided written authorization allowing me to post an Autoloader .bundle, which can be found in my earlier post.

This .bundle has also been updated to use DOSLib 9.0.1 which supports 2007-2015, just be mindful that the Autoloader mechanism only supports 2012+.

Cheers

Hi BlackBox

will there be an update for AutoCAD 2017? Owen already released a current ZIP on his page http://otb.manusoft.com/2009/09/arxdbg-utility.htm
