Look-up problem

I've got a very complex dynamic block. When I change the look-up to a different state, it takes two selections to get the dimension along the bottom to match what the look-up is set to. Any ideas?
Any questions, I'll be glad to answer.

Interesting, I see what you mean. But I too am rustly at Look-Ups!

For the life of me, I can't figure out why it needs two selections to make it work. It's a time saving like it is, but it's still a PITA.
