"Drop Shadow"? Can you give an example? I'm interested in this.

Oh I'm more than familiar with drop shadow. Been using it in Photoshop since version 4.0, I was interested in how this was accomplished in AutoCAD by Drafter X. I looked/searched and didn't find anything that shows you can do this in AutoCAD "natively". I can't even think of a workaround to get this accomplished in AutoCAD to be honest.  :kewl:

Sorry, got busy and forgot.
I don't like to shadow the leaderline, just the bubble.

So in short, the drop shadow is faked, its just part of the block definition for the block I use on call outs. I could be more creative and make it a 'fuzzy transparent' I supposed, but this is just to give depth, not win an art contest.

I also use color in the shop drawings, mainly in hatches, which makes for a lot clearer presentation of information in my mind without going all full 3D rendered. Clients seem to like it a lot.. for instance notes requiring follow up or dimensions needing field verification are highlighted on the prints so its much less likely they will miss them.
