2013 with .NET 4.5
« on: August 01, 2012, 05:24:50 AM »
If you have 2013 installed and are thinking of installing the .NET framework 4.5 preview ; don't.
Simarly, if you have 4.5 installed don't bother installing 2013.

There is a compatibility issue between the 2.
AutoDesk are working on a resolution.

Uninstall 4.5 and reinstall .NET 4.0 in order for AutoCAD 2013 to run.

Kerry.

Yep, but is it really that bad, apart from not updating the MRU list?

Care to be more specific?

I assume that's a rhetorical question.

Appload dialog.
Layer command
Several Ribbon selections.

Sometimes just pure random lucky dip.

Recent testing with AutoCAD 2013 SP1.1 with .NET Framework 4.5 installed seem to indicate that any issues have been resolved.

Compiling with VS2012 to use .net 4.0 has not been a problem.

Indeed, closing the application was intended anyway, so why not with a crash ;-)
The conclusion is justified that the initialization of the development of critical subsystem optimizes the probability of success to the development of the technical behavior over a given period.
