Revit Service Packs updates
« on: July 09, 2012, 11:00:12 AM »
I'm not an IT person so could someone clarify something for me please?  There is a service pack release 3 for Revit MEP.  do i need to install "Revit MEP Service pack 2" first or will it matter? in other words Revit SP3 will cover all bases?

Any help would be greatly appreicated.

Regards

Looks like there are only 2 WU's.

And according to the site it's not a full install, just a service pack.

If i was to download another full version of Revit BDSP 2012 file from Autodesk.  Would that version have the SP (or WU's) included already or will i still have to modify the deployment?  We have a superfast connection (970kbs+) here so i could pull the install down over night and save my self an awful lot of bother.

funny though....i installed Revit BDSP 2012 "bog standard" on the machine and then applied the updates after and they installed no bother. :?

As an FYI to any with issues out there similar to mine...

- Install Revit as normal
- Apply the updates after.

Its a pain in the arse but it will get a guy out of a "jamb"  :lmao:
