Point Lable overlap
« on: May 14, 2012, 10:07:50 am »
Does anyone know of a way to automate correcting overlapping point labels? I have around 5000 trees, each with a 4 digit number that needs to be readable on my 30 scale plans. As is, they are overlapping severely in many places. I'd love to avoid having to move each label manually.
I'm sure some manual manipulation would still be needed, but any help would be huge.
Thanks

nothing that I am aware of to 'weed' those labels....

you might try some form of grouping...and applying a rotated label per each group...

Actually I think one could use some form of buffer query to filter and group the data...
