Convert Drawing from Color Based to Style Based
« on: March 05, 2012, 04:08:32 PM »
Ok, I need to be able to convert drawings from color based (.ctb) to style based (.stb) without using converpstyles.

Does anyone have any ideas?

It is currently failing in some cases and I want a redundant system in the event that it fails. It basically boils down to a bug in AutoCAD and I am attempting a brute force method to go around it.

I have figured out a work around for this case.

Basically, I open a drawing that is setup for style based plotting and insert the other drawing as an exploded block. It works, but is not the way that I would like to have accomplished this.
