light colored lines printing lighter shade of black 2012LT
(1/1)
mhillis:
So my company just got our first copy of AutoCAD 2012 LT and I am trying to get everything the way it used to work in 2004LT. The last problem I am having is that lines that are lighter in colour, on screen, are printing out in a lighter shade of black, to the point that yellow lines are almost gone. The line weights are printing out correctly but they are not black. I am running on Windows 7 64 bit, printing to a color printer but have the settings for the printer to not print in color.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Mike

I usually see this when the user is printing with no (or missing) CTB, or when the colors in the CTB are set to plot color rather than black. If you are plotting STB, or using TrueColor settings, there may be other issues.
mhillis:
The CTB file is there. How do I make sure that the colors are set to print black?
dgorsman:
Check the "Color" setting for each color in the CTB editor.
mhillis:
That was the one thing I did not think of :| but now everything is fixed. Thanks dgorsman
