rollover tips

I have just installed 2012 and my rollover tips for sta. offset and elevation keep disappearing. I have done a hotfix and this worked for a week......My rollover tip box under options is checked..The only way i seem to get them back is exit out of cad and restart it?

Set the system variable ROLLOVERTIPS to a value of "1" if you want your Tooltips back.  Set it to "0" if they annoy the hell out of you.

I forgot that RollOverTips and Tooltips are not exactly the same thing.  Each can be enabled or disabled individually using their own system variables.
