The legal answer is you CAN'T!

AutoDesk gives free / very inexpensive educational programs. But to stop people from using these as production programs they've incorporated this feature. I don't think any forum would allow descriptions of hacking around this feature, otherwise AutoDesk may decide to sue the forum.

Note if you copy-n-paste / insert anything from that DWG it will infect your own DWG as well. It becomes like a virus. So whoever gave you that file needs to be adjusted  :pissed:

I recommend you contact the distributor who sold you the AutoCAD and ask for help! You may be given a special program to clean up your files from this label...
I know how to quickly apply a label on the bases of the drawings in the firm. This is a really big problem!
For one day, the label can get into the tens of thousands of files...   :-(

More on the web.
https://www.google.com/search?q=%22educational+stamp%22&hl=en&num=10&lr=&ft=i&cr=&safe=images

Obviously the Swamp does not condone anything illegal.
Please do not post any drawings on this site with the Educational Stamp in it.

That said it does happen that you may get infected by some drawings you receive.
Just don't pass the problem along to others.  8-)

We have had a couple members that have kind of morphed into dealers,  I don't think there are any left that are both active and remain dealers however.

I think it's unfortunate a solution was posted and now associated with the swamp, regardless how trivial it may be. I could post a direct fix but plain and simple it would be wrong. The right answer is to help the op identify all the afflicted dwgs (i.e. go to www.manusoft.com) and then steer them to Autodesk for subsequent remedy.

Does you dealer not provide you with lifetime tech support? Really, for something like this, we would get a response within about 30 minutes and if for some reason it took longer than that, I would drive down the street with a USB drive and talk with them in person, then bring the fix back with me. Luckily they are only a couple of miles away from us.

Yes.

I'm not sure about "horrible" ... but it's no "joke"! I've lost count on how many times I've called on our dealer, only to have them refer to some forum ... usually AUGI!  :ugly:
